Another Trans Terrorist Targets Christian Children

A gunman opened fire with a rifle through the windows of a Catholic church and struck a group of children celebrating Mass during the first week of school, killing two and wounding 17 people in an act of violence the police chief called “absolutely incomprehensible” (AP. 2 Minneapolis).

The two students killed in the Annunciation Catholic School mass shooting were an 8-year-old boy who loved to fish and cook and a 10-year-old girl known for her laughter and kindness (ABC News. Parents).

A senior administration official confirmed to Breitbart News that the alleged shooter at a Minneapolis Catholic school changed from a male name to a female name at 17 years of age and identified as a female.

A document posted on social media was confirmed as authentic by the official. The document describes the name change occurring in 2020 when the alleged shooter was a minor, and required parental sign-off on the change.

FOX News correspondent Brook Taylor reported that his mother signed off on the name change from “Robert” to “Robin” (Breitbart. Minnesota).

In a twisted handwritten journal he shared on YouTube before the massacre — much of which is encrypted in a homespun code of Russian Cyrillic script and English words — Westman groaned about his long hair and his decision to transition.

“I only keep [the long hair] because it is pretty much my last shred of being trans. I am tired of being trans, I wish I never brain-washed myself,” he wrote, according to a translation by The Post.

“I can’t cut my hair now as it would be an embarrassing defeat, and it might be a concerning change of character that could get me reported. It just always gets in my way. I will probably chop it on the day of the attack.” …

“I regret being trans.. I wish I was a girl. I just know I cannot achieve that body with the technology we have today. I also can’t afford that,” he said (New York Post. Minneapolis).

“I don’t want to dress girly all the time but I guess sometimes I really like it,” Westman wrote. “I know I am not a woman but I definitely don’t feel like a man” (Newsmax. Report: Minneapolis).

Trans Lies

This latest tragedy happened not because of the lack of gun laws, as the left are claiming. It happened because this disturbed male’s parents believed the lies of the left.

When Richard as a teenager came to his parents and told them he wanted to be called Robin because he identified as a female, they should have gotten him the help he needed. That help would not have been to coddle him in his gender dysphoria and to aid him in “identifying” as a female. It should have been to get him intense psychological treatment to deal with not just his gender dysphoria but the underlying psychological disorders that were leading to it. But instead, they believed the lies of the left that if a boy thinks he is a girl, he really is one and should be treated as such. And further, that if they do not, they will end up with “a dead son rather than a living daughter.”

None of that is true. Coddling disturbed children in their gender dysphoria does not improve their mental health. Having them undergo hormone treatments and surgeries in a futile attempt to change their sex does not reduce the risk of suicide. In fact, over time such mutilations increase suicide risks and mental health problems. The negative effects might not be immediately apparent, as there is a period of euphoria after a transition. But after 5-10 years, transitioners realize their self-mutilation did not cure their underlying mental disorders. They also often regret transitioning and having mutilated their bodies. As a result, the risk of suicide and other mental disorders reappear.

That is what happened here. Six years ago, the parents had a chance to get Robert the help he needed. But instead, they went along with his self-delusion and helped him “transition” to a female, as least in regard to his name. And here we are, six years later, and that “help” proved to be no help at all, and his underlying mental issues came screaming out in a horrific act of rage and suicide.

But in this case, it appears he never underwent hormone treatment or surgery. But he did legally change his name, with his mother signing the legal document in January 2020. But his desire to do so dates back to 2019. Thus, we are now in that 5-10 years later period of regrets and realizing nothing has been solved with the futile attempt to change genders.

Sadly, this angle is not being addressed in most of the media. Most news outlets are not even reporting about his name change. And some are even referring to Richard as Robin and as she/ her. Consider the following paragraph by the New York Times about the shooter:

And Ms. Westman, armed with three weapons, seemed to choose the time carefully. She barricaded the doors during the first all-school Mass of the academic year, the police said. But it is hard to fathom what drove Ms. Westman to attack before killing herself, despite the dark and violent writings and videos she left behind (NYT. Minneapolis Suspect; bolding added).

But just one look at his picture, and you can see he is a disturbed individual. Several such pictures are available in the articles linked to in the References at the end of this article.

Looking at the pictures, Richard is very obviously a man attempting to pass himself off as a woman, but he is not a woman and should not be referred to as one. It is only by ignoring this very important point that the NYT can say, it is “hard to fathom what drove” him to commit this atrocity. Not it is not. He was a very disturbed individual. That is what drove him.

Not the Only Trans Terrorist

This is the second trans terrorist assault on Christian children in the past two and half years. The first was in March 2023, in Nashville, committed by female shooter Audrey Hale, who “identified” as male (Aiden).

At that time, I remember seeing a female psychologist on CNN talking about Audrey’s actions, as a video was shown of her roaming the school with rifle in hand. The psychologist pointed out that she was trying to imitate a male in the way she walked and carried her weapon.

The female CNN host became visibly upset as the psychologist repeatedly referred to the shooter with female pronouns and kept using her female name. The host pointed out to the psychologist that the shooter identified as a male. The psychologist looked confused and muttered something like, “but she’s a girl.” I would guess that psychologist was not on board with the trans agenda and probably never appeared on CNN again.

However, the psychologist was correct. Audrey was the correct name to use, as were female pronouns. And Audrey trying to imitate the actions of a male shooter are important. Her committing what is normally a male atrocity was her ultimate was to “prove” she was a male. That motive was missed by the media.

Thankfully, the Trump administration is putting an end to the sexual mutilation of children in this country. That is following the lead of Europe, which is also halting such mutilations.

However, there are many more disturbed individuals out there who already had their bodies mutilated and/ or were coddled in their gender dysphoria due to the lies of the left. Of course, most of them will not become terrorists, but they are ticking time bombs, and some of them will eventually commit suicide, as Richard did. Audrey planned on killing herself also, but she was shot dead by police before she had the chance to do so (Daily Mail. Nashville).

These tragedies should serve as a warning to those with gender dysphoria and those around them that they need to stop living in their self-delusions and get the help they need to address the underlying disorders that lead to their gender dysphoria in the first place.

It is also a warning to those on the left pushing for red flag laws. I disagree with such laws, for reasons that I state in my political writings (such as Joe Biden Tweets During the First Year of His Failing Presidency, Volume One and Joe Biden Tweets During the Second Year of His Failing Presidency, Volume Two). But if we’re going to have them, then “gender dysphoria” should be a mental disorder that disqualifies a person from owning a gun.

I wrote the preceding paragraph before seeing that the DOJ agrees with me in this assessment:

The Department of Justice is reviewing possible steps to restrict firearms access for individuals diagnosed with gender dysphoria, officials familiar with internal discussions told Newsmax exclusively Thursday [9/4/25]….

DOJ officials say a recent series of shootings involving individuals reportedly struggling with gender identity has prompted the department to examine whether new safeguards are needed.

A DOJ source told Newsmax that Democrats have long pressed for “common sense” gun control, adding: “This seems pretty common sense to me.” …

Researchers at institutions including UCLA's Williams Institute are beginning to explore patterns related to gun violence and ownership among LGBTQ people (Newsmax. DOJ).

I know some will push back and say two trans shooters is just a blip in the number of mass shootings in recent years. But, as indicated in the second paragraph of the above quote, there have been many other such attacks by people suffering from gender dysphoria in recent years, just not against Christian children and not as well publicized. And this connection is only now being studied, as indicated in the last paragraph of the quote.

Other Factors

An important factor most mass shooters have in common that is generally not reported is absentee fathers. That commonality is also discussed and documented in my Sex Plan books, and it was also possibly a factor here. Richard’s parents were separated. And the father was apparently out of the picture, as it was the mother who signed off on the name change. At the very least, his parents’ separation could be a factor, as (despite claims by leftists that the children of divorce will be okay), they are always hurt when their parents split, even later in life.

Another factor was a broken relationship. It has been reported that Richard was living with a romantic partner. But that relationship recently ended, and he moved out and was living with a friend (ABC News. What we). I have not heard if that romantic partner was a male or female. But what matters is, since they were living together, it can safely be assumed they were sleeping together.

I also discuss in my Sex Plan books that when sex is a part of a dating relationship, it is much more traumatic when the relationship ends than if the couple had not been sexually involved, especially for the dumpee. That is because God designed the act of sex as a means of making a couple “one.” As a result, it is indeed like losing a part of one’s body when the relationship ends (Gen 2:24; Matt 19:5; 1Cor 6:16). In my Sex Plan volumes, I give the example of a mass shooting that was committed on St. Valentine’s Day by the dumpee in such a relationship.

Male or Female At Conception and for Life, and Beyond

Richard was mostly correct when he wrote, “I wish I was a girl. I just know I cannot achieve that body with the technology we have today.” However, it is not a matter of “technology” but of reality.

For some basic science, the female ovum can only have a X chromosome. Therefore, if the male sperm that unites with it at conception is also carrying a X chromosome, you have a person who will have XX genes in every cell of her body and is a female. If the sperm is carrying a Y chromosome, you will have a person who will have XY genes in every cell of his body and is a male (Biology Discussion. Sex Determination).

This genetic fact has ramifications for the ridiculous terminology of saying doctors “assign” sex at birth. Personally, I refuse to fill out any medical form that begins with the absurd question, “Sex assigned at birth.” My insurance company has been harping on me all year to fill out just such a questionnaire, but I have been staunchly refusing.

The reason for my refusal is that dangerous terminology opens the door to liberal teachers teaching their classes that when the doctor assigns the sex, he guesses, and sometimes he guesses right, and sometimes he guesses wrong. That claim is then used to deceive little children to mutilate their bodies to try to fix that wrong assignment at birth.

But that assignment terminology is just plain silly, as evidenced by the many funny videos that can be seen on the TV show AFV or on YouTube of mishaps occurring at gender reveal parties. Those parties occur weeks before the baby is born, long before the doctor does any alleged “assigning.” They are based on whether an ultrasound shows whether the preborn baby has a penis or not. The parents then proclaim their baby is a boy if he does, or a girl, if she does not. That is exactly what a doctor does at birth. He is not assigning or guessing at anything. He is just proclaiming what the reality of the situation is based on the biology of the baby, which had been determined nine months prior, at conception (CNS News. Ryan Anderson).

But backing up, that preborn baby with XX chromosomes will develop gametes, known as ovaries, of the type that produce the large sex cell which produce the aforementioned ovum. The preborn baby with XY chromosomes will develop gametes, known as testicles, of the type that produce the small sex cell which produce the aforementioned sperm.

Along with those internal differences, the person with the XX chromosomes will have a vagina, while the person with XY chromosomes will have a penis. There will also be skeletal differences, most notably in the pelvic, with a female pelvic bone being wider than a male pelvic bone. There are also many other biological differences, such as in the breasts.

The important point is, all of this began at conception and will remain for the entire life of the person, which is to say, it is mostly immutable biology that cannot be changed with any kind of hormones or surgery.

Yes, a skilled surgeon can remove the penis and testicles of a biological male and create a facsimile of a vagina, along with enhanced breasts. But that vagina will not work the same as a true vagina in terms of lubrication and other functions, and that surgeon cannot give him working ovaries nor breasts that are capable of producing milk. And he cannot give him a womb. Therefore, he can never get pregnant, let alone carry a preborn baby. In other words, this now mutilated male will never really be a female.

Similarly, that surgeon can close up a female’s vagina and reduce the size of her breasts and give her a facsimile of a penis. But that penis will not work the same as a real penis, and he cannot give her working testicles. Thus, this now mutilate female will never be able to father a child and will never be a true male.

When these mutilated people die, a century from now, if an anthropologist digs up their skeletons, the anthropologist will immediately identify the former as having been a male throughout his life, and the latter as a female, as no surgeon can alter the shape of the pelvic bone, and all of the other futile attempts to change the person’s sex will have rotted away.

All of this is to say, a person is male or female at conception and for life, and even beyond. And no amount or type of surgery or hormones will ever change that fact.

Trans Relevant Verses in The Bible

What does the Bible have to say on this subject? Relevant verses are quoted and commented upon in my Sex Plan books. They will also be commented upon in the explanatory notes to be included in the forthcoming volumes for the “Study Version” of my Analytical-Literal Translation (ALT). And there are many relevant verses, far more than most realize. Some are often missed due to most Bible versions translating relevant verses in a less than literal manner. But the ALT translates them literally, so their implications for this issue can be seen.

Why Target Christian Children?

The left will say, the Minneapolis and Nashville trans terrorists targeted the schools they had attended because they were teases, harassed, and bullied at those schools. However, there is no mention of such in the writings the Minneapolis terrorist left behind; while in her manifesto, the Nashville trans terrorist wrote that she worried her classmates would call her obscene names, but she does not indicate they ever did.

Mostly in his manifesto, Richard indicated hatred for just about everyone, and such hatred was apparent in Audrey’s manifesto also. But hers was directed towards her conservative Christian parents and her Christian school because they do not support the LGBTQ movement and especially the trans agenda.

But the reasons Christians do not support such is the idea that a male can become a female or a female can become a male is a fantasy. But Christians believe in reality. That reality is taught in the Bible and is confirmed by science. And that reality is that males are immutably males, and females are immutably females.

However, that is not cause for Christians (or anyone else for that matter) to tease, bully, or harass those struggling with gender dysphoria. They need to be shown the same compassion that all struggling people deserve, as people created in the image of God (Jam 3:9-10). That compassion is best expressed by encouraging them to get the psychological help they need to align their distorted minds and thoughts with their biological reality. Trusting in Christ as Lord and Savior would also be a vital step in healing (1Cor 6:11; 2Cor 5:17).

But to do the opposite, to encourage them to mutilate their bodies in a futile attempt to align their bodies with their distorted minds is the uncompassionate and misguided way to address this issue. Regrettably, the later has been the approach for several years now. But thankfully, the tide is turning, and reality is setting in. But sadly, it could take more such instances as these ones before the left abandons their destructive trans ideas.

Conclusion

The left might be baffled as to Richard’s motives. But gender dysphoria, an absentee father and/or the parents’ separation, and a broken sexual relationship all played a role in him becoming a mass shooter. Any one of these could be the precipitating factor in mass shootings, but all of them together pushed him over the edge and into committing this atrocity. All of these are also contrary to God’s sex plan. Bad things always result when people and societies deviate from God’s ideals.
